Obituary of James S. Wileman
Wyoming – James S. Wileman, 74, of Wyoming, died at 1:19 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012, in the emergency room at Kewanee Hospital.
James was born August 9, 1937, in Lewistown, Illinois, the son of Charles and Edith Butler Wileman. He married Marjorie Hettinger on June 13, 1955, in Kirksville, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Danny Wileman of Washington, IL, and Roger (Robin) Wileman of Linn, MO; 5 grandchildren, Colby, Mileisha, Zachary, Austin, and Ashley Wileman; and one brother, Earnest Wileman of Bartonville, IL. His parents, three brothers, Edward, Ralph, and Lawrence Wileman, and one granddaughter, Rogessa Wileman preceded him in death.
James was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was a member of the Wyoming American Legion Post #91. He first worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in the engine division, retiring in 1993. He then went to work for Green Gables Furniture Company in Bradford.
James enjoyed woodworking and doing remodeling jobs for friends and family. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Wyoming Funeral Home. Rev. Delbert Howell will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
